Being a custom painter for the last 25+ years kind of helped when I was taking a basic, somewhat clean ’72 El Camino that belonged to my Dad and built him a pretty wild hot rod and lied to him about the WHOLE project. It was a lot of work over a period of 4 years but it’s been fun watching the world’s oldest 15 year old have fun!
Danny D’s “Paint or Die” is an annual, invitation-only event that brings some of the world’s best custom painters, pinstripers and artists together for an epic festival of eye candy. Round Six takes you inside of the fabled party, and gets you up close and personal with the mind-bending talent on display.
Round Six’s brad takes you on a teaser tour, featuring many beautiful custom boat projects over at Billy B’s in Needles, California. Get a peek around the shop and see a bunch of powerful engines, eye-popping paint work and just general bad-assery.
In honor of his father’s passing, Pete Chapouris IV organized a memorial cruise which took place on January 6, 2017. Round Six’s Alex and Brad took part and share their experience, giving some insight to the man and his incredible contributions to the hod rodding world.
On a beautiful Saturday in the middle of September, world famous custom painter Billy B and the group at Pirates Cove Resort put together another amazing boat show. If you’re a huge fan of brightly painted, over powered and really loud boats that are less than 25 feet long, this is a show you really don’t want to miss. Round Six’s Brad got them all on video for you to enjoy.
Brad letters a 1967 VW Squareback for a client, and brings you along, all time lapse-style…
