Notes From the Show

Alex:

“You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more caring and compassionate group than folks in the car hobby.  There’s not a week that goes by that you don’t see a posting or a flyer listing a car show or an automotive-related event to benefit someone or some charity.  Listen along as Chad talks about his wife Daphne’s recent battle, and how many folks in the car community pitched in to help.   You can tell by the tone of Chad’s voice that it meant so much to Daphne.  It’s stories like this that makes it such an honor to be a part of this great community of car people”.

Alex discusses a serious point in our Chad Reynolds interview, regarding the incredible community we have in the hot rod world.

Del:

Chad talks about the early 70’s Chevelle wagon that sticks in his head like an Emerald Ash Borer. One of many, I’m sure, that got away. Not unlike that time I walked in on my mother and father, what I can’t unsee is a 1957 2dr. hardtop Mercury Voyager station wagon I saw for sale at a car show in Milwaukee about 20 years ago. It was gorgeous! Stance was right, paint and chrome were nice….the only thing not up to par was my wallet. I still think about that white beauty!
